Living in the United States and becoming a mother made me think deeply about the kind of connection I wanted my child to have with the Arabic language.
I wanted my son to grow up loving Arabic, speaking it confidently, and carrying it with him as an important part of who he is.
My journey began at home, with books.
I started searching for Arabic children’s books, choosing stories for my son, and making reading together part of our everyday life. Through those little moments — a story before bedtime, a new word, a favorite character — I discovered how powerful and joyful Arabic reading could be.
Over time, reading became more than just a way to teach my child a language. It became a way for us to connect, learn, imagine, and create beautiful memories together.
That experience inspired me to create this little space for other families who want to bring more Arabic into their children’s lives.
Here, I carefully choose Arabic books that I would love to read with my own children — books that encourage language, imagination, curiosity, and most importantly, a love for Arabic.
My hope is that every child can discover the beauty of Arabic through the joy of reading.
